Physiotherapist guiding a patient through a rehabilitation exercise

After surgery, illness or a medical condition the body is often weakened, with reduced strength, mobility and fitness. Rehabilitation helps you to return step by step to your former level – or to get the very most out of your recovery. Together with you we draw up a personal rehabilitation plan, tailored to your situation and your goals.

You can come to us for, among other things:

  • orthopaedic rehabilitation: recovery after surgery such as a hip or knee replacement, back or shoulder surgery, or a ruptured cruciate ligament
  • neurological rehabilitation: support with conditions such as stroke, MS or spinal cord injury
  • pulmonary rehabilitation: support with breathing and fitness problems, for example with COPD or after a severe lung infection
  • chronic pain and psychosomatic complaints: treatment of persistent pain, burnout or stress-related symptoms, restoring the balance between what you ask of your body and what it can handle

During rehabilitation we work purposefully on reducing pain and swelling, restoring mobility and strength, and building up fitness and confidence in movement – towards work, sport and everyday activities. Where necessary we coordinate your treatment with your medical specialist or GP.
